December 18, 2017 - Week 70
Hey everyone!! This week was pretty cool. Us and some of other Elders went sledding as a p-day activity. It was super cold and and we got covered in snow, but it was super fun! Hiked super deep into the mountains and this abandoned valley and we found this old cabin on the side of a mountain the scenery was super peaceful and it was super quiet. This week was also Elder Udalls birthday (my english teaching companion) so our class brought him a birthday cake and some pizza! I love my english class, all of the doctors in it are cool and really want to learn english! On a more spiritual note I was in sacrament meeting on sunday and an investigator from a different ward came in and joined us. Her name is Urnehtsetseg and Elder Whitaker and I were the first missionaries to ever meet with her, we thought she was in our area, she has a huge desire to be baptized and fully believes in the church. So I was feeling down and as the sacrament was being administered I looked up and I saw her praying super intently and super powerfully. I realized that part of the reason why she is there is because I helped her find the church and helped to teach the Gospel to her. I showed to me that the gospel really changes peoples lives and will always help them in the end.
